This multi-purpose stone can be used for effleurage, petrissage and stroking. It is recommended for use on smaller muscle groups, such as the hands, arms, and neck. This stone can also be used as a placement stone on any of these areas.

Marble Stones

Marble is the ideal stone choice for use in cold stone therapy. They are used by Massage Therapists and Estheticians alike.  These white marble stones have been cut and polished to various shapes and sizes designated to work specific areas of the body.  They can be used on their own or in combination with Hot Stone Therapy. On their own, they act as a powerful decongestant to help diffuse swelling in the circulatory system and to encourage blood flow away from a swollen area.   They are excellent when working on clients with inflammation and sports injuries. Cold stones can also be massaged around the delicate eye area to help relieve puffiness, dark circles and to improve skin tone or used on the sinus areas to relieve pain and congestion. When combining the use of hot and cold stones alternately, the resulting vasodilatation and constriction of the blood vessels encourages cleansing, nourishing, and healing of the tissues.
